Downsview Park has come to be a green hub for the community, and it has scheduled an instalment of its “Nature Connections” program for early January.
This nature-based learning activity will be offered at no charge, and anyone who is aged 16 or under will need to be accompanied by an adult. While service animals are welcome to attend, pets should be left at home, and everyone who reserves a spot is asked to meet up at the park’s Discovery Centre.
The attendees will be spending some time exploring the forest and learning how while, even though it may be cold, there is still lots going on. They will be invited to warm up by a roaring bonfire, and they will even have a chance to learn how to build one for themselves. A chance to roast some snacks will be on offer, and the function will run for around an hour and a half. It is strongly advised that everyone dress warmly.
Nature-based outings can be as fun as they are educational. A flyer printing company can be contacted by anyone planning such an event to procure marketing materials.
Downsview Park will be hosting its Nature Connection event on Sunday, January 8th. The group will be heading out from the site’s Discovery Centre at 2:00 pm.
