Downsview Park offers a piece of nature right in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area, and it will soon be rolling out the red and white carpet for a special Canada Day celebration.
The venue will be welcoming one and all for its annual festival, which will offer fun for the whole family. It will be set up at the Festival Terrace, and the plans for the festivities will see live entertainers perform for the crowd. There will also be inflatables, and small businesses and other vendors in the pop-up market, as well as other activities, and many of them will be free of charge.
Along with the rest of the excitement, the festivalgoers will be treated to a fireworks display once the sun goes down. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and there is free parking. It can also be reached by public transit.
As with many seasonal celebrations, the planners of this event have invited local food truck operators to set up shop for the occasion. Mobile food service vendors can make their vehicles look their best for an organized activity like this by having a wrap designed and installed by an area printing services company.
