Downsview hike to benefit good cause

Downsview Park will play host to the Endometriosis Yellow Ribbon Hike this March, aiming to provide a brisk hiking experience while raising money for charity.

The morning will begin with guided breathwork led by Creative Wellness Workshops’ Anna Azucena. The hike will run approximately six kilometres throughout the park and be led by trained leaders who are certified in first aid. There will also be a moment of serenity and snack break halfway through the hike, with snacks provided to registrants. Participants can also add a tea blend to their sign-up fee to have a warm drink delivered to them during the hike. The event will go forward rain or shine, with hikers urged to dress for the weather.

The hike is sponsored by Endometriosis Events Charity and will go towards programs to support those suffering from the disease, which affects approximately 1 in 10 women. The hike is the kick-off for a month full of events hosted by the charity in the greater Toronto area, including a writing workshop and a meditative gathering. Charity events like this often offer special Promotional Products or souvenirs, and the hike will include a yellow toque for all participating, matching the yellow ribbon campaign for endometriosis awareness.

The 2025 Endometriosis Yellow Ribbon Hike will take place at Downsview Park on the morning of March 1.
