Downsview class to offer tips for making perfect pizza

A workshop will be taking place in Downsview next month that will allow attendees to learn everything about pizza.

Pizza is a popular food that has evolved over the years and comes in many shapes and styles. The class will take learners back to the basics, and will show how easy it can be to prepare a home-made margherita pizza.

Kitchen 24 will be welcoming amateur chefs into the kitchen so they can learn how to make this simple style of pizza, from the dough up. It will be a hands-on event, and learners will even have a chance to try their hand at stretching dough.

Along with the handmade crust, the group will discover how to make their own fresh mozzarella and pizza sauce. Once they have topped their pizzas and cooked them in the oven, students will sample a slice of their creation and any leftovers can be boxed up to take home.
