The Bangladeshi-Canadian community makes a variety of contributions to the local economy and culture, and this will be celebrated as part of a special September event.
A group of organizations and companies have teamed up to bring the Bangladesh Festival to the Downsview area. Originally scheduled for 2020, the date was moved due to the pandemic, but it will still take place at the Toronto Pavilion.
The guests at the celebration will be invited to explore Bangladeshi food, dancing, music and other experiences. The achievements of the community will be on full display, and there will also be a trade show and vendor booth area. Seminars have been planned that will explore how those from Bangladesh have contributed to a variety of fields, and everyone in the region is invited to stop by and check it out for themselves.
