Orchidophiles from across the Greater Toronto Area will soon have the chance to enjoy an event dedicated to orchids, and it is to be hosted in the Downsview area.
The Southern Ontario Orchid Society is a club that welcomes everyone who enjoys these flowers, and it will soon be hosting its annual Show and Sale. It can be a great time for those who are new to orchid care and culture to get their feet wet, and those with intermediate and advanced levels of experience will also find lots to explore.
The activity will see at least 30,000 plants on display, and those who attend will be able to add some new orchids to their personal collections. They can purchase everything from common orchids such as phalaenopsis to rare types not often seen in the trade, and seminars, displays of art and photography and a vendor area filled with supplies will all also be on offer.
