Downsview Park will once again host the Adult Cup of Champions soccer tournament at the Hangar. The indoor event is scheduled to begin in February and registration is set to commence mid-January.
Teams will be co-ed and will be divided according to skill level, ranging from expert and competitive to beginner and elementary. Downsview Park is expecting a high turnout of both male and female players, and it is likely that Print advertising will encourage lots of people to sign up for the event.
An affiliated member of the Ontario Soccer Association, this year’s Adult Cup of Champions soccer tournament will add more games with 13 guaranteed games and even more divisions than last year. Teams may play a double header this year or play on alternate nights.
Registration is due at Downsview Park on January 21, 2013, with the first game scheduled on February 3rd. Downsview Park is also host to a youth soccer tournament as well, running from December 27 to January 4, from ages 9 to 19 years.
