July and August will be filled with music as the Cambridge Summer Live series is set to feature biweekly concerts and other entertainment.
The event will include shows every Sunday and Wednesday across a two-month period at locations throughout Cambridge. Female-fronted blues and roots-rock group the Madison Galloway Band will kick things off at the Central Park Bandshell. Listeners can hear classic songs performed by groups like the Bopping Bearcats and Rum Runners as well as tributes to artists like Simon and Garfunkel and Billy Joel.
A number of classical and more traditional music styles will also be included. The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra will perform at City Hall, while other concert bands include The Galt Kilties and Celtic jazz outfit Clefs of Moher. Artists and groups like these often use tools like poster printing, social media and radio to help introduce their styles to music lovers.
Cambridge Summer Live will also include a number of family attractions such as the Ultimutts Animal Actor Show and Team T& J Jumping Jamboree. The series will also feature movie nights with family films like Shrek and Zootopia shown on the big screen outdoors. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets where venues do not include seating.
The 2026 edition of Cambridge Summer live will take place on Wednesdays and Sundays between July 5 and August 30 at venues across the city.
