Cambridge rock night to benefit community

The Rock for Oak Bridge fundraising event will be returning to Cambridge this April, looking to raise money for community education with a hard-rocking benefit concert.

The show will feature a variety of local bands and tribute acts, with the main stage featuring Electric Crush, Mostly Hip, Always on Friday and more. The bands will play hits from popular rock artists ranging from the Tragically Hip to Pearl Jam. The Cabot Lounge will also feature a more laid-back show with the acoustic duo Brown & Cooper.

Rock for Oak Bridge will feature a number of different ways to contribute to the cause. There will be a 50/50 draw and a raffle for items donated by local businesses. There will also be door prizes available to everyone. This has been a long-running benefit event in Cambridge, with past editions being major successes.

Proceeds from ticket sales, games and sponsors will all go towards Oak Bridge Academy, a local school which aims to provide supportive programs for children on the autism spectrum. The organization also runs clinical and community spaces. Students and community members are also invited to join the party. Fundraising events like this often use brochure printing and on-stage presentation to help encourage visitors to donate.

The 2026 Rock for Oak Bridge event will take place on the evening of April 25 at the Cambridge Newfoundland Club.
