The Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore will once again host the most attended and highest donation raising event in the city. Canada’s Largest Ribfest makes its anticipated return to Spencer Smith Park, where it aims to have filled bellies, smiles and laughter, and bring the community closer together.
The generous support of sponsors such as Air Canada, Esso Mobil, Labatt, White Claw, and the City of Burlington will be acknowledged throughout the park with advertisements for all to appreciate the sense of giving and community these and other contributors possess.
For festivals like this one, banner printing is often used to welcome visitors and signpost different areas.
Attendees will be able to sample a savory selection of ribs from such venues as Bone Daddy’s BBQ, Fat Boys BBQ, Pistol Pete’s Smokehouse, and over a dozen others, while being audience to such bands and performers as JW-Jones, Dirty Pioneers, and The Killin’ Time Band. Activities include family-fun at the Latch Developments Kid Zone!, games, face-painting and the Midway Rides.
Running from August 29th to Sept 1st, the food and events will be available to the public from Fridays to Sundays, 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Mondays 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Admission prices are $2.00, with children 12 and under being admitted for free. VIP tickets are available as well for $10 or $27. All proceeds will be given to a variety of charities. Donations can be made at the event, or Cheques can be made out to Rotary Burlington Lakeshore, Suite 202N, 1455 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, ON L7S 2J1.
