Boasting of being the biggest celebration of barbecue and end-of-summer fun in the country, Canada’s Largest Ribfest will be celebrating 30 years in Burlington this September.
The event will feature top grillers, or “ribbers”, battling it out to offer the best beef ribs and other barbecue dishes. There will be over 15 vendors, including Smokehouse Bandit, Big Texas BBQ and Hawgs Gone Wild. The top grillers will receive awards in categories such as Best Ribs, Best Chicken and Best Sauce, with first through third in each category recognized.
The festival grounds will also include beverage tents and a classic midway entertainment area with a Ferris wheel, ride, games and other food and drink vendors. A Kids Zone will provide family-friendly games, face painting and other activities for younger visitors. Ribfest will also include a full entertainment line-up featuring local musicians and more.
Proceeds from Canada’s Largest Ribfest go towards the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore, which supports local charities. The event is hosted with the support of volunteers and community sponsors each year. Large community events like this often use banner printing and presentations to recognize the contributions from local individuals, businesses and organizations.
The 2026 edition of Canada’s Largest Ribfest will take place at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington from September 4 to 7. Children 12 years and under get in free.
