The two-day event will feature multiple stages with artists ranging from national names to emerging musicians. The Saturday show will be headlined by Burlington's own hitmakers Walk Off the Earth and Katie Tupper, while Sunday will feature popular Canadian rockers The Trews and The Dirty Nil. More than 30 musical artists in all will be featured, with announcements leading up to the event.
The festival will also include a midway area with rides and carnival games. Visitors can sample local street fare from food trucks and shop in an artisan market, with vendors selected through an online application process. Events like this can create valuable business connections, with Business Cards and contact information changing hands.
There will be free admission for the festival along with a ticketed VIP option. The festival will also feature artwork and brand activations. Promotional material describes the Waterfront Festival’s ambitions as:
“Set along the city’s stunning waterfront, the festival will come alive as a vibrant, multi-stage experience. [...] Lakeshore is poised to become one of Ontario’s premier outdoor music and cultural events for years to come.”
The inaugural Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival will take place on June 20 and 21 at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
