Burlington celebrates Canada Day on waterfront

Burlington is invited to celebrate Canada Day with a day full of activities and celebrations of Canadian talent.

To be held at Spencer Smith Park, the Burlington Canada Day celebration will kick off with free yoga in the park at 9:00 am for those looking for some light exercise and to loosen up for a day full of activities. The food and marketplace vendors will open at noon and run to 10:00 pm, allowing Burlington residents to explore a wide range of local favourites and find new favourite vendors.

The Kids Zone, which will have a variety of activities and mini-events for children, will run from noon to 4:00 pm, including a sing-along with The Whoopsie Daisies and Noise Pollution Rock Band and a special appearance from the Burlington Teen Tour Band. There will also be a variety of activities and performances for everyone to enjoy, including one from My Son the Hurricane. The celebration will wrap up with a drone show and fireworks display in the evening.

Vendors at local events like the Canada Day festival will often use this as an opportunity to introduce their unique products and services to the region and can often sell out of local favourites quickly, which is why they often utilize tools like brochure printing to provide alternative methods or information on how to purchase their products after the event.

The Burlington Canada Day event will take place on July 1, 2025, at Spencer Smith Park.
