Burnside walkers enjoy fall foliage

Shubie Park provides a chance to get back to nature, and this Burnside area green space will soon be visited by the registrants in an upcoming women’s walk.

An autumn hike will visit the venue this October, and it will go at an easy pace. It will take place in the morning, and no-one will be left behind.

The trails that will be walked will be approximately 5km, and the activity is expected to take about one and half hours to complete. Everyone should bring their own snacks and a bottle of water so they can stay hydrated, and sunscreen and insect repellent may also be helpful, depending on the weather and temperature. They should also ensure they have any other gear they require. The registrants meet up at Shubie Park trailhead (2) located at 54 Locks Road in Dartmouth before they head out, and they will depart at 9:00 am. The venue offers parking and is accessible by public transportation.

A walking or hiking group provides a chance for people to meet and enjoy one another’s company while getting back to nature. Stationery printers can provide sign-up sheets, trail maps, waivers and other materials for an event.

This chance to enjoy the fall foliage at Shubie Park will be on offer on October 31st. Only a limited number of spaces are available.
