Burnside sponsors help raise the roof for homeless

Habitat for Humanity has a history of helping to make sure everyone has a roof over their head, and it has issued a call to Burnside businesses seeking support for its fall fundraiser.

The sponsorship system for Habitat’s Huge House Party is now open, and its organizers have put together a set of supporter packages it hopes will be very attractive to businesses from across the Halifax Regional Municipality. Steele Wheels Motor Museum will serve as the venue for the event.

The function will run for five hours, and it will feature live music as well as an assortment of bites applied by local eateries. Alongside projects such as its Burnside retail shop, it will contribute to housing initiatives all across Nova Scotia, and will be a time for the attendees to engage in discussions about this issue in the province.

Local businesses that would like to get involved can choose from various sponsor packages, and these start at $5,000 and go up to the $25,000 presenting sponsor level. There may also be other options available that may be a good fit for companies that are looking for an outside the box option. Vendor packages, contracts, Letterheads and other materials for an event can all be prepared by Print shops.

Habitat for Humanity is hoping for lots of support for its annual Huge House Party set for October 23rd. Anyone who would like to help “raise the roof” can find more details on the function’s website.
