The Burnside area is about to get a spring clean, and as many hands make light work, everyone is asked to consider getting involved.
The Downtown Dartmouth Spring Clean Up is set for the end of May, and it is one of the activities organized by the Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission. It gives local residents a chance to show their civic pride, and all help will be appreciated.
The annual clean-up, which has been hosted for many years, will run for two and half hours, and all of the supplies needed will be provided. The litter and other debris collected will be gathered and properly disposed of, and after the clean-up, everyone can relax and socialize over some snacks and other light refreshments. Those interested can register on their own or as part of a group.
When organizing an event like this, planners may need help taking part of the housekeeping side of the process. Stationery printers can supply Letterheads as well as other custom-printed materials such waivers and vendor contracts to help with the paperwork side of planning the event.
The 2026 Downtown Dartmouth Spring Clean Up will help the neighbourhood put its best foot forward on Thursday, May 28th from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Anyone interested is asked to email Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission to register.
