Burnside opens spring with business mixer

Hampton Inn Dartmouth is set to welcome a gathering that will bring together members of Burnside’s business community, and it will help them kick off the fiscal year.

The Greater Burnside Business Association (GBBA) has issued an invitation to anyone who is interested to attend its Spring Networking Social. It will be a catered affair, and everyone may want to bring lots of Business Cards so they can quickly exchange their contact information, leaving more time for important conversations.

The mixer will provide an opportunity for Burnside business owners to expand their contact network, and they can find how membership in the organization will give them collective voice in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Entrepreneurs and other community members will be on hand as well, and everyone can exchange ideas and nibble on the finger foods that will be supplied by Jack Astors. Everyone will receive one drink ticket, and the function will run for three hours.

A business meet and greet or other networking event offers its attendees the chance to expand their network of contacts, which may be useful to them in the future. These events are often sponsored by a local company, and Stationery printers can include their branding in any programs or marketing materials prepared for an activity.

The GBBA Spring Networking Social will welcome registrants starting at 4:30 pm on April 23rd. Spots are expected to fill up quickly.
