Vancouver's seniors to be treated to holiday lunch

The winter holiday season can be a very special time of the year, and Vancouver's senior community will soon be gathering for a luncheon to celebrate and socialize.

The kitchen at the False Creek Community Centre will be serving up food and fun for those who attend the Seniors Holiday Luncheon. The guests at the function will be served a lunch of fruit, sandwiches and pastries, with tea and coffee on the menu as well.

Attendees can sit and socialize, and while they do, they will be treated to a musical performance of seasonal favourites courtesy of the St. Mary’s Elementary School Choir. Its enrolment system is open, and spots in the luncheon are expected to fill up quickly. Admission to the event is $4.75.

Organizers of events like this, where food is served, may find themselves in the market for custom Drinkware and other serving supplies. Such products are just some of what will be available to those who utilize local printing services.

Those age 55 and up are invited to attend the Seniors Holiday Luncheon, which will get started at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 14th. The False Creek Community Centre will serve as the venue for the afternoon. Tickets can be secured via the City of Vancouver website, and are still available at the time of writing.
