When it comes to environmental stewardship, a Vancouver event will show that everyone has a role to play, and it will be free and open to one and all.
The Seeding Stewardship Fair will seek to connect Vancouver residents with environmental projects and groups that can use a helping hand. There will be lots of booths to explore, and everyone is reminded to show some love to the vendors at the Riley Park Farmers Market.
Vancouver Parks Board, the City of Vancouver itself and an assortment of community service organizations will be taking part, and along with the booths and display, the attendees can tour the venue and take part in the hands-on activities. These may include a rain garden planting, face painting, a community clean up, and tips for taking aim at water pollution. Over two dozen service groups have signed on to participate, and the function will run for two hours.
Grassroots level events can be very successful at creating community buy-in with a project, and a poster printing company will be happy to help build interest in the lead-up to the event. They have options at various price points, and can also provide Graphic Design Services.
