This autumn, a Vancouver venue will be transformed into a whimsical celebration that will be filled with fantasy and fun.

Dewdrop Studio is collaborating with Duello to host a special renaissance-style faire that will boast a fantasy-inspired theme. The ticketholders may choose to come in costume if they wish, and the plans include a variety of activities.

The guests can mix and mingle with the roaming character actors, and at least 20 local vendors have been invited to set up in the Market Square. Live music and historically accurate dance lessons are in the works, and two knights in full armor will be showing off their fighting skills.

Anyone with fantasy-themed Books to swap can head over to the book and barter area, and a feathery trinket trader will also be on hand to meet the crowd and trade treasures from her nest. The Dark Oracle will provide a whimsical view into the future, and a photo booth with props will round out the occasion. When it comes to a bite to eat, there will be sweet treats, ale and other refreshments to enjoy.
