The Greater Vancouver Canary and Finch Club has cordially invited all bird lovers to do some browsing and buying at an event that will put feathered friends first.
The Club’s annual Bird Mart is scheduled for September, and all owners of all types of companion birds, including members of the parrot family and house pigeons, will be welcome. It will include learning opportunities, and Lochdale Community Hall will serve as the venue for the day.
Those who attend the sale will be able to meet avian care experts, and they can shop for everything from birds to seeds and other supplies that keep their feathery friends healthy and happy. Pets will not be permitted, and everyone is asked to refrain from making a lot of noise or engaging in other activities that will disturb the birds on site.
Local businesses that offer avian food, gear and other supplies that would like to book a table at the Mart are welcome to do so, and it will provide an opportunity for them to expand their customer base. Sales materials such as price lists, Packaging supplies, booth and table decor, and business card printing services will all be available at local Print shops.
