A hanging basket of plants can add an extra touch of green to an outdoor living space, and a Vancouver workshop will teach the secrets of preparing one of these miniature gardens.
Gardenworks North Shore will be hosting a hands-on class that will construct bespoke hanging baskets. They will each be unique, and each ticket holder will learn how to make one that should do well in their particular growing conditions.
The hour-long class will teach how to combine flowering and foliage plants to create a planter that should look good all season long. Care tips will be shared, and everyone will receive assistance with plant selection and colour choice. The basic materials will be supplied, and anyone who would like to purchase a few extras to add to their basket will be able to do so on site. Tickets are $78.39, and this includes taxes and any applicable ticketing fees.
Gardening is a hobby that can be enjoyed almost anywhere, even if one only has a small amount of space available. Care tip sheets and other helpful materials for plant parents can be provided for an activity by Stationery printers.
This introduction to the art of preparing pretty hanging baskets at home using readily available materials will begin at 1:00 pm on April 28th. It will be held at 95 Philip Avenue.
