Vancouver foodies and wine lovers are being offered a unique sensory experience that will transport them to the Mediterranean next month.
The crew at Everything Wine has organized The Olive & The Vine, an evening event that will pair wine with olive oil. The event is for those aged 19 and up, and the attendees will be treated to samples of extra virgin olive oils and sips of wine. Everyone will learn how to appreciate the texture, aroma and flavour profiles of the various oils, and they will also find out how each is distinct and pairs well with a different wine. It will be led by a local tasting expert, and tickets for the hour and a half long session start at $35.00. Fees and taxes may be applied when reserving seat.
