The West End Community Centre has become a community hub for the neighbourhood it calls home, and it will be celebrating the success of its garden club by hosting a special event.
Vancouver’s West End Urban Garden Club took on a variety of projects throughout the year, and its membership will be coming together for an informal and friendly gathering that will look forward to 2023. Even if they are not a member of the club, members of the public are still welcome, and it will provide a chance to learn more about what the group is all about.
The function will include a potluck-style meal, and everyone is asked to bring a dish to share, as well as eating utensils. They can mingle and share stories of their changes and success throughout the previous horticultural year, and it will run for one and a half hours. The West End Neighbourhood Food Network will also be taking part.
