The West Coast Symphony Orchestra is set to take place in Vancouver next month.
In the 1970s, the West Coast Symphony first began as an amateur string orchestra that went by the title of Vancouver Chamber Players. The group initially played for free at places such as hospitals and churches.
In 1992, the Canada Revenue Agency officially recognized the group as a Charitable Organization. Now going by the name West Coast Symphony, the orchestra is involved in seven programs per season.
Maestro Bujar Llapaj will be leading the West Coast Symphony Orchestra in Vancouver next month. The two-hour concert will include works composed by notable individuals, including George Enescu, Jocelyn Morlock, Vasil S Tole, Mykola Lysenko and Jim Hopson. To promote similar events, the organizers of concerts often pick poster printing as a way to create noticeable printouts that grab peoples’ attention with bold fonts and vivid photos or colours.
To attend the concert, people who wish to join can pre-register online for the donation amount of their choice. The suggested donation to support the West Coast Symphony Orchestra is $27 per attendee. Face masks are not mandatory, although they are encouraged for the duration of the concert.
On Saturday, June 11, the West Coast Symphony Orchestra is set to be boosted at the Christ Church Cathedral. The concert will run between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
