Vancouver plans Halloween party for pooches

Pet parents in the Vancouver area who would like to treat their furry friends to a special Halloween experience may find that a local event will be just what they have been looking for.

At least 25 vendors will be on hand for the Howl-o-Ween Pooch Party, and many of their products will be pet related.

While the humans shop, the pooches will be able to strut their stuff in a costume contest with a $500 prize up for grabs. Trick or treat Bags for the pets will be distributed, an off-leash dog area will be on site, and food trucks will also be on hand for the humans. A licensed bar is also in the works for anyone wanting to sit back and relax. The function will take place at the Friendly Paws Club, and tickets may be purchased in advance.

Many communities have Halloween-themed fun on the way for October, and banner printing companies are already busy preparing special decor. There are options for use indoors or out, and as these can be rolled or folded flat for storage until next year, they may also be budget friendly.

The Howl-o-Ween Pooch Party will bring the fun to the Friendly Paws Club in Vancouver on October 25th. The Pawty Events’ site includes a ticketing link, as well as more details for anyone interested.
