Vancouver park plans night-time visits

Once the sun goes down, the nocturnal wildlife of Vancouver’s Pacific Spirit Regional Park takes over, and a special activity will pay them an in-person visit.

The park will be welcoming the public for its Night Quest events, and these will offer a sneak peek into what goes on at the park when the crowds go home for the day. Anyone who is interested can choose their entry time when they register in advance, and the program will take approximately one hour to complete.

The function will offer the attendees a chance to stroll the park’s trail by moonlight, and glowing animal lanterns will be set up as well. Friendly forest creatures will keep everyone entertained with stories about the natural world, and everyone is reminded to bring along a flashlight and dress appropriately for the weather. The activity is on offer thanks to the Pacific Spirit Park Society, and admission is free.

When preparing for an event like this, organizers may find themselves tasked with choosing appropriate signage for the occasion. A banner printing company in the local area will be able to meet their needs.

This introduction to Vancouver's natural night scene will be offered on March 17th and March 18th. Advance registration is required and all ages are welcome. Those interested can register on the Metro Vancouver website.
