A Vancouver activity will soon introduce a wide variety of insects to its attendees.
Entomology refers to the study of insects, and the Beaty Biodiversity Museum houses an extensive collection of these organisms. It will be showcasing them during an edition of its Nature Club series, and it will be family friendly.
Throughout the years, the museum has collected and pinned 25,000 specimens, and it also has 75,000 that have been preserved using alcohol. These specimens will be on display for the attendees to view and explore at the Nature Club – Entomology event. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about biodiversity and see for themselves how insects have evolved over time to inhabit a wide variety of ecosystems. The activity will run for two and a half hours, and it will begin in mid-morning.
Learning about nature can be a rewarding experience, and many people appreciate the opportunity to do so. Herbarium sheets, pre-printed container labels and pinning tags for a biological specimen collection can all be prepared by Stationery printers.
The introduction to the world of entomology is scheduled for Saturday, January 6th. It will be held at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, and it is set to begin at 10:30 am and wrap up at 1:00 pm. Interested parties are welcome to register through the Beaty Biodiversity Museum website.
