The Vancouver International Children’s Festival returns in person this year at Granville Island. This year’s event will be a hybrid event with events taking place in person as well as online.
The International Children’s Festival is a popular event with children and families alike. There are events scheduled throughout various venues around Granville Island. The online festival runs from May 31st to June 12th. Print shops can help spread the word of an annual event like this to the local and broader community.
The event hosts several outdoor Forms of entertainment as well as scheduled indoor events such as live theatre shows. There will be tents set up where children and their families can participate in a variety of arts and crafts activities such as splatter painting and designing their own paper hats. The children festival also has opportunities for children to learn circus tricks as well as have their faces painted.
Many of the activities at the festival are included in the admission fee; however, there is an additional expense if attendees wish to attend the main shows.
The in person Vancouver International Children’s Festival runs from May 31st to June 5th at Granville Island. Tickets for the International Children’s Festival vary in price. If participants wish to purchase a one show pass, the cost is $12.50 per child and $22.00 per adult. If attendees wish to only participate in the activities offered throughout Granville Island, the cost is $6.00 per person. Participants must purchase this pass on site with cash only.
