Adding a new member to the family can be an exciting time, and a Vancouver presentation will offer advice and tips for those who will be having a cesarean section.
Mothers to be and their partners who will be bringing their child into the world via a cesarean may find that the In Person Prenatal Individual Workshop: Cesarean Birth will give them more knowledge of the procedure and confidence. It will be a deep dive, and everyone is advised to wear comfortable clothing.
The session will take place on the third floor of the St. Paul's Hospital’s Providence Building in room 3500, and it is recommended for those who are 28 to 32 weeks along in their pregnancy. The attendees will learn the reasons why a cesarean may be recommended, as well as Signs they could be in early labour and what to do. The surgical process itself will be discussed, as will post-partum care, and breastfeeding is also on the agenda. Tickets to attend are $86.53 each.
A workshop or other activity can provide a lot of information to those who take part. Additional educational materials can be prepared by a brochure printing company so that attendees can keep on learning once they head for home.
Providence Healthcare will be offering the In Person Prenatal Individual Workshop: Cesarean Birth on July 3rd. It will run from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
