Vancouver dinner to utilize reclaimed food

A not-for-profit group that believes everyone in Vancouver should be able to enjoy food security is working on the menu for an event that will show how rescued food can make a big impact.

The menu for The Food Stash Foundation’s four-course dinner and drinks event will be prepared by some of the city’s top chefs. The ingredients used to prepare the feast will be reclaimed, and tickets include beverages, as well as the food.

Upon arrival at the venue, the guests will have a few minutes to mingle over a drink, and it will then be time to head to the tables for the plated dinner. Chef Mark Brand will open the program for the evening, and the main course will be served alongside a wine pairing. A tasty dessert will wrap the meal. The organizers have thanked A Better Life Foundation for its support.

A fundraising dinner may also be helpful in raising awareness about a cause. A brochure printing company may be tasked with preparing programs for an activity, and these may include photos and other graphic designs elements.

December 2nd will see The Food Stash Foundation’s four-course dinner and drinks with celebrated chefs take place. It will be held at 43 W. Hastings Street from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased via its Eventbrite listing.
