Yoga weekend promises a return to relaxation

The Grassroots Yoga Festival is taking place in Surrey for three days this August. It can be attended daily or treated as a weekend retreat.

The festival will of course be holding classes in yoga and meditation; there will also be kid's yoga activities. Additionally, there will be workshops on topics such as container gardening, knitting, and permaculture. In addition, music will be provided by Meshe and the Moon Circus, Leah Barley, and several others. There is also set to be a movie night, a community potluck dinner, and belly dancing.

Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of eco-friendly merchandise. This will likely include clothing, handmade jewelry, and food. Vendors can rent a 10ft x 10ft space to showcase their products.

It is likely that if the organizers of this Surrey event need help with advertising, they will turn to local printing companies for services such as flyer and catalog printing.

The Grassroots Yoga Festival is being held at Camp Alexandria on Crescent Beach from August 15th to 17th. Tickets are $108 for one day or $260 for the entire weekend; children between the ages of seven and 15 pay $60 per day or $135 for the weekend. Tickets include three activities plus entertainment.
