Surrey offers springtime scavenger hunt

Local kids in Surrey will soon be on the hunt for some bad bunnies that will be hidden throughout historic Stewart Farm.

The Bad Bunny Scavenger Hunt will be a free activity geared towards school-age kids. The families that take part will be able to pick up their scavenger hunt map and details at the farmhouse veranda on the day of the event, and there will be lots of fun to be had.

Each child that completes the scavenger hunt can receive a plush bunny to take home and cuddle, and they will be distributed for as long as supplies last. After the kids hunt for the “naughty bunnies”, they can walk the nature trails at Elgin Heritage Park. Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House will have drop in activities from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring along a picnic lunch and enjoy a full day out in the fresh air.

Easter egg and other scavenger hunts are a common sight in many Canadian communities during the spring months. A printer can prepare small Promotional Products to hide in the eggs.

Surrey families will be able to hop on in for the Bad Bunny Scavenger Hunt from March 17th until March 27th. A full description of the activity can be found on the City of Surrey website.
