Surrey workshop welcomes beginner beekeepers

Caring for a honeybee colony requires specialized skills and knowledge, and those who are new to the practice may want to make sure they are on hand for a Surrey workshop.

The team at the Honeybee Centre will soon be running its Complete Beekeeping Course, which will be a deep dive into this type of agriculture. The learning will be hands-on, and it will show how a hive doesn’t take up much space.

The course offers two full days of learning, and it will be led by subject matter experts. The basics of bee biology are on the agenda, and it could be helpful for everyone from the suburban beekeeper who has just enough space for one hive to those hoping to start a semi-commercial operation.

Workshops and other educational activities offer the public an opportunity to learn something new or add to the knowledge they already have. A brochure printing company can prepare hard-copy learning materials, and can also provide in-house Graphic Design Services, which may be useful when marketing a function to its target audience.

The Honeybee Centre will be providing this deep dive into the basics of beekeeping on June 13th and 14th. Anyone who would like to secure their spot is advised to register well in advance, as seats may fill up quickly. Both days will run from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
