Valley Women's Network event

The Surrey Delta chapter of the Valley Women's Network will be holding their next luncheon meeting on September 28. It will be held at Eaglequest Golf @ Coyote Creek from 11:15 am until 1:30 pm. Those planning to join the Network in order to take advantage of their many networking events will have to arrange for some business card printing from a local Print company, as prospective members are required to submit a business card with their application.



The Valley Women's Network (VWN) was founded in Chilliwack, BC in 1980. Since then it has expanded to several chapters throughout the lower mainland. The Surrey Delta chapter was formed in 2007. The motto of the group is "to promote the interest of women through networking, education and friendship."

Each chapter of the VWN holds a luncheon meeting on the 4th Wednesday of each month. These meeting consist of a 3-course sit-down meal and cost $22 for members and $25 for guests. Each luncheon meeting consists of networking exercises, guest speakers, member testimonials and display tables. Members can place their Business Cards, Brochures, and product samples on the display tables for all to see.

Membership in the Valley Women's Network cost $35 per year; members must include a current business card with their application. Membership in the VWN includes a printed membership directory, the chance to advertise in the VWN monthly newsletter, easier access to the Surrey Board of Trade and, of course, the chance to attend the monthly luncheon meeting and network with other women in business.
