Surrey to host dinosaur-themed event

Dinosaur World Vancouver is bringing Jurassic Fest Surrey to the city this summer.

As a new educational exhibition program, Dinosaur World has organized events that showcase dinosaur species from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

The Jurassic Fest Surrey exhibit will take place both indoors and outdoors. The event includes life-sized dinosaur animatronics, such as a 10-metre triceratops and a 13-metre tyrannosaurus rex, which allow visitors to see how they may have looked in real life. Activities centring around dinosaurs and a display of fossils will be included in this educational family event. Visitors are welcome to buy tickets to attend the event as a school trip, child’s birthday party or as a casual outing. The hosts of similar educational exhibits often choose poster printing to convey essential event details to passersby in a printed format.

Tickets are available online with Dinosaur World for advance purchases. Admission prices for individuals are $14 for adults and teens of 14 years of age and older, $12 for seniors and $9 for children aged13 and younger. Group admission for a family of two adults and two kids costs $40, while a group of eight adults or kids can register for $144.88. Tickets pay for two-hour visits.

Jurassic Fest Surrey is set to take place from Friday, August 12 to Sunday, August 14, with it open between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
