The city of Surrey is set to host the 5K Foam Festival this May.
The 5K Foam Festival is a fun, family-friendly, run-walk event. This 5k run is unique and unlike any other. Participants will encounter over 22 obstacles as they run or walk their way through the finish line. Participants are encouraged to pick any obstacles they chose to do.
This year’s obstacle course includes mud crawls and a mega inflatable waterslide, as well as foam – 2.5 million feet of it. Racegoers will begin and end their race running or walking through a sea of foam. There will be a DJ on site delivering family-friendly tunes, and the festival has also set up showers on site for participants.
A festival such as this one is often lots of fun, and a banner printing company can help make it even livelier, creating thematic decorations for the event.
After the course, festivalgoers are welcome to stay and enjoy the various activities on hand. Kids under 7 can enjoy the free kids zone. Food vendors, as well as a beer garden, will be set up for festivalgoers. Local shop vendors will also be on site.
The 5K Foam Festival takes place on Saturday, May 28th at Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants must register for the event. Family and corporate rates are available.
