This March break, the Museum of Surrey has an schedule of afternoon events in the works that will introduce families to the wealth of flora, fauna and other life that calls the Pacific Ocean home.
The museum will be offering this exploration of the deep to local families, and they will not have to leave dry land to get involved in the fun. All age levels may find it interesting, and each of the sessions will run for three hours.
Those who attend the afternoons will be led through an assortment of projects with Junkology’s “ Dr. Recycle”, who will show how materials can be repurposed to make a special craft. The sea-inspired scavenger hunt will put everyone’s knowledge to the test, and as the snacks that will be served will be seaweed-based, they will be in keeping with the overall theme for the occasion.
With the kids off school for the March break, many families may be on the hunt for activities for their school-age kids. A flyer printing company will be happy to provide promotional materials that spread the word about such upcoming events to community members.
