Young women from Surrey who are exploring their career options are invited to be part of an initiative that will introduce them to firefighting and the steps required to follow this career path.
The Surrey Fire Department Central Training Facility has organized training days for young women only, and this will give them a chance to find out if being a firefighter is the right job for them. They can meet with women who have chosen to make this field their career, and there will be time for attendees to ask questions and gather as much information as they can.
As well as meeting female firefighters, participants will learn about the local fire department’s recruitment practices and the physical skills that are needed to be this type of first responder. There will be an opportunity to discuss this with fitness instructors who work with fire services, and they can offer tips and other support.
These workshops are for women who are at least 19 years of age, and the training will run from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Promotional Pens, Notebooks and certificates of completion are just a few of the materials that Print shops can supply for this sort of occasion.
The Surrey Fire Service Training Facility will be hosting this introduction to women in firefighting on May 30th, June 20th and July 8th.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Notebooks Get a Free Quote for Pens
