Surrey will soon be celebrating another winter holiday season with an activity that will help make this festive time of the year happier for everyone who calls the city home.
North Surrey Secondary is set to offer four hours of retail therapy when it hosts its annual Holiday Market Fair. It will be filled with gift ideas presented by area small businesses.
The shoppers will be able to browse through a wide assortment of tables, and these will be manned by a variety of makers. It will be an opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind gifts, and there will also be holiday goodies and treats, which may be perfect for parties or to present as hostess gifts. The family fun zone will have activities just for the kids, and a photo booth will provide an opportunity to catch snaps of all the excitement to share on social media.
While the market will provide a fun and festive shopping experience, it will also have a higher purpose. Attendees are asked to bring along a generous donation of non-perishable food, and these contributions will be passed along to those in need.
