Surrey offered opportunity to learn about bees

Surrey honey fans are invited to “bee” on hand for an activity that will provide an introduction to the world of these industrious insects.

Honeybee Centre will be hosting its July instalment of Tea and Bees, which will include light refreshments as well as a presentation. It may be of interest to those who would like to start their own hive or simply want to learn more about honey and other species of bees, and it will be led by a beekeeper from the local area.

The session will open with pours of tea and some treats, and this will be followed by a half hour long talk. A honey tasting has been scheduled so the participants can learn how different flowers can produce different flavour profiles, and a question and answer period will take place. To take the crowd for coming out, they will be offered a special discount of 10 percent on any purchase they make of over $10. The function is for adults only.

Learning about nature can be a lot of fun, and it is an activity enjoyed by many. A poster printing company can be helpful in getting the word out to as many as possible about an upcoming event.

The team at Honeybee Centre in Surrey will be offering its Tea and Bees gathering on July 15th. Tickets may be purchased through its web listing.
