Surrey will soon be playing host to an event that will bring together those looking for a job with the local business community looking to recruit.
The North Surrey Recreation Centre will serve as the venue for the 10th Annual Mega Job Fair & Business Expo, which will include over 100 different exhibitors. Those who come to the function will be able to learn more about the local employment market, meet employers who are looking for the right person for their company, distribute résumés and find out what the area’s enterprises have to offer. A local printer will be able to work with the companies that will be participating in an expo such as this to craft job applications and other personalized business Forms.
The attendees at the job fair will also be invited to participate in a variety of workshops that will equip them with skills they can use in their daily lives. The list of topics that will be covered includes budgeting, networking, and being one’s own boss. The expo is open to people of all ages and levels of work experience, and everyone will be welcome.
This event, which will seek to form connections between the local labour market and the employers who wish to access it, has been planned for August 3.
