Hanging baskets filled with flowers and foliage are often a popular item at garden centres in the spring, and a Surrey class will show how easy it can be to make one at home.
Darts Hill Garden Park offers a variety of horticultural programs, and it plans in the works for a hanging basket workshop. This will be a hands-on session, and everyone will walk away with a 12-inch planter to hang in their own home or garden.
The participants will also receive the supplies needed for the project, including fresh moss, a wire frame, potting soil and nine different premium annuals. Participants will be given assistance in choosing which plants will do best in the conditions where the basket will be hung, and they will also learn how to keep their creation looking great throughout the summer. There will be options on offer for shade, part sun and full sun.
Activities that give the public a chance to learn a new skill are often welcome. A flyer printing company will be able to let everyone in a community know when and where one is taking place.
Darts Hill Garden Park in Surrey will be hosting this class on May 8th, and it will begin at 10:00 am. The registration fee starts at $75.00.
