Surrey residents have been asked to hit the road in support of an event that will help raise funds for a worthy cause.
The annual Father’s Day Walk and Run to fight prostate cancer will be returning to the community, and its organizers have adapted it so that it will prevent the spread of COVID-19. The organizers have explained that, as one in nine Canadian men will develop the disease, this function can have a large impact on the lives of men and their families.
The activity has been switched to a virtual format, and the participants will be joining others across the country in making a difference. They can choose to get involved on their own or as part of a larger group, and they are asked to fundraise so that the function will make as big an impact as possible. The registrants will then walk, run or use a mobility device to roll their way along if needed.
Corporate Gifts branded with a fundraiser’s Logo Design are often distributed to those who take part in an event like this.
The 2021 Father’s Day Walk Run will see the community take to the streets to raise funds to fight prostate cancer on June 20th. A website has been set up to sign up and to supply additional information.
