Cyclists in Surrey will be wrapping up August with an event that will include a bicycle tour of Barnston Island.
The roads on Barnston Island offer a scenic route for cyclists to follow, and there will be two different route options for the participants to choose from. The organizers have explained that, while the roads will be paved, they may still be rough, and they also explained that for the safety of the group, the most up-to-date health protocols in the province will be followed.
The riders are reminded that, as there will not be access to water, they should make sure they bring along enough to keep them hydrated for the entire day. They can also bring along snacks and lunch, and sunscreen is also recommended. Washroom facilities will be available on the island at Roberts Point Rest. Any questions about the activity can be directed the organizers directly, who will be happy to provide additional information.
To help make sure this event goes off as planned, each rider will need to sign a safety waiver before they head out. Business Forms like these are available from local Stationery printers, which will also be able to provide Letterheads and other paperwork.
This free cycling tour of Barnston Island is scheduled for August 28th. Everyone who would like to take part is invited to register row.
