Country music fans in Surrey will soon have cause to celebrate, and while they do, they will be raising funds for a worthy cause.
This summer, the “Gone Country - Here for the Cure Cancer Fundraiser” will showcase some of the top talent in the local country music scene, and the monies raised will be donated to a charity that supports cancer research and treatments. It will take place rain or shine, and admission will be reserved to those who are at least 19 years of age.
The line-up for the day includes at least seven different performers and bands, along with a performance from DJ Jaxon Hawks. This will be the 8th year that the fundraiser has been held, and the organizers are hoping to attract as large a crowd as possible. They pointed out that, to date, this event has raised almost $4 million, and they are hoping that this year's concert will be just as much of a success as it has been in previous years.
Those who attend a gathering like this often want to purchase a souvenir of the occasion. A poster printing company can prepare a variety of Promotional Products to sell, and these can all be sold to the crowd during the activity.
The 2021 Gone Country fundraiser has been scheduled for July 24th. It will begin at 2:00pm.
