Some of the area’s top craft breweries will be throwing down in a Surrey event that will be seeking the region’s top brews this summer.
The celebration, which will raise funds for charities that support local kids, will be held in Surrey City Hall Plaza, and tickets start at $40.
The third annual Battle of the Brews, which is brought to the city through the co-operative efforts of 102.7 THE PEAK and The Surrey Firefighters’ Charitable Society, will put the area’s craft brewing sector in the spotlight. Along with the beer, the attendees can enjoy an assortment of food, and ice water will also be available.
The ticket holders for the celebration will not have to worry about bringing any extra money with them, as the entry fee covers everything, including a souvenir mug that has been printed with a special graphic design. It also covers admission, food samples, and all of the beer tastings. The attendees will be invited to choose their favorite brew, and the whole event will have a lively and welcoming vibe.
The monies raised during Battle of the Brews will be donated to charities that make life better for local kids. The Surrey Firefighters’ Charitable Society initiatives for youth and Athletics 4 Kids will be the beneficiaries of the occasion.
August 24 has been set as the date for this yearly community celebration. The gates will open for the ticket holders at 1:00 pm.
