Surrey’s Honeybee Centre educates the public about bees, beekeeping and related topics, and it has a craft workshop on the way for December.
The centre will be pulling out all the stops for its Holiday Workshop next month, and the organizers hope everyone will have a great time. Centre staff will be on hand to help with an assortment of make-and-take projects, and tickets are priced at $15.00 each.
The attendees at the session will be making beeswax candles, and the staff will help with the rolling, cutting and dipping. They will also craft a customized mini container of skin healing salve, and while they craft, socialize and enjoy themselves, the guests can sip on some hot chocolate and nibble on some cookies. Parents and kids, as well as friends, are encouraged to attend the gathering together, and an admission discount will be given for larger groups.
A holiday party can be a fun way for a small business to introduce itself by encouraging members of the public to stop by. Promotional Products are sometimes distributed to attendees at events like these to increase brand awareness.
