The Surrey campus of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers a wide assortment of learning options, and its Career Development Centre recently announced that it has an opportunity in store for area employers.
The campus has scheduled its Career Day for this coming March, and it will provide a chance for area businesses and organizations to introduce themselves to potential future employees. It will be its largest career fair, and both current students and alumni will be taking part.
The activity will see those seeking an entry-level or volunteer position in a wide assortment of fields connect with area employers. It is anticipated that graduates from accounting, computer and life sciences, social work, fine arts and many other fields will all be in attendance, and the function will run for four hours. Only a limited number of tickets will be available
Area companies that feel this event would be a good fit for them are encouraged to apply to sponsor the gathering. Those that do will be offered an exhibition space, and this also includes having their Logo Design and branding included in the function's promotional materials. Standard registration packages may also be available upon request.
