What's Happening in Surrey, BC…

Located on the south side of the Fraser river delta, Surrey is the second largest city in Metro Vancouver with a population over 465,000. It is sited just east of Delta township. Surrey is fortunate enough to also have a waterfront in the southeast part of the city boundary. Most of the water here is shallow close to the shoreline, too shallow for commercial shipping. Consequently, homes and parkland are located along part of the shoreline, with farms on the other half.
